Your questions answered
At Pegasus we recognise that moving house at any time of life can seem daunting. Below are some of the many questions that we have answered for people considering a move, particularly those who have spent many years in their current property.
In many ways living in a Pegasus apartment will be no different from the life you value in your current home. We firmly believe in our Owners' privacy and independence, so you hold the key to your own front door and have the freedom to run your home as you wish.
If you have a personal enquiry that is not answered here, please do not hesitate to contact our Development Sales Manager at the development you are interested in or call our customer helpline who will be pleased to talk to you. Alternatively you could email your enquiry.
Communal Areas
Who looks after the communal areas of the development?
All aspects of care and maintenance, from external window cleaning to the upkeep of the gardens and the cleanliness of the communal areas are taken care of by Peverel Management Services on your behalf, co-ordinated by the Estate Manager. An annual service charge pays for this service to be provided for the benefit of all Owners.
Can I plant flowers or shrubs in the garden?
It would depend on what you would like to plant. Please consult with your Estate Manager to gain approval for your gardening contribution. It would be considered a donation to the development and should fit in with the landscaping as a whole.
How do visitors enter the building?
For greater security the main doors are kept locked at all times. An entry panel next to the front door enables a visitor to communicate with you or the Estate Manager. When a visitor buzzes you just turn to a pre-set channel on your TV, see who has arrived, speak to them on the intercom and press to let them enter.
